About Me
Prior to attending medical school, while attending Boston College, I worked in an elementary school in Boston for 3 years. In between college and medical school, through AmeriCorps, I worked as a history teacher and organized after school programming at a high school in Paterson, NJ. The many years of experience working with children and adolescents fostered a passion for working with this population when I decided to pursue a career in psychiatry.

I trained in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at the University of Michigan before taking on several clinical and leadership roles at Henry Ford Health. Among them, I developed a sports psychiatry clinic that service local universities. I created multiple lecture series including topics such as advanced psychopharmacology, sports psychiatry, and advanced child and adolescent psychiatry which I continue to deliver to the residents. As the chair of the clinical competency committee, I oversaw the proper development of the residents. I have been voted mentor and teacher of the year multiple times by the residents and have also been selected as a "Top Doc" by Detroit Hour Magazine on multiple occasions.
